Africa has 11.6 million AIDS orphans

At the end of 2007, women accounted for 50% of all adults living with HIV worldwide,
and for 59% in sub-Saharan Africa.

Young people (under 25 years old) account for half of all new HIV infections worldwide.

In developing and transitional countries, 9.7 million people are in immediate need of life-saving AIDS drugs; of these, only 2.99 million (31%) are receiving the drugs.

It’s time past the time to do more.

A big thank you goes out to Miss Tique for awarding us with the Guilty Pleasures Recognition this month.   We love to drop by the Guilty Pleasures blog for the latest on the things to be enjoyed in life.  Two paws up!

We love our commenters and recently implemented the Comment Luv Wordpress Plugin on this site, which visits the feed of the commenter and attempts to display it under their comment.  

So, we were browsing through our comments and noticed something seemed to be amiss - it was displaying our own post instead of our visitor’s.   That was definitely a 2 paws down.  

We have since discovered that if you use Feedburner to syndicate your feed, which we do, you must change the default Comment Luv settings, or it displays your own post instead of the commenter’s.   To correct this, in settings, change the Comment Form Identification to ID instead of Author.  

The problem is now fixed.  We apologize to those that have left comments since we implemented CommentLuv and have been pawing our way through last couples of posts to ensure we can make it up to all our friends and guests that were so kind to say such nice things, especially everybody that said we weren’t fat.  (Hey Mom, how about another Greenie?)

So we went to the vet yesterday and they said we were fat.
We pointed out that our breed standard calls us “stocky.”
They seemed to think we passed stocky a couple of pounds ago.

Hmmm.

So, Mom put us on a diet.  Can you believe it?
And she is making us walk more.

We pointed out that Mike says it’s all about choices and we just like to choose lots of good stuff.

Mom and Dad start bootcamp next week to get in shape for ski season.
We hope they get to do some extra push-ups.  

Now, tell us, do we look fat?
