Moshi and Kibo give a great big two paws up to our top droppers for January - all with 31 visits to our site! We started out with 10 but by the time we were finished, we found that the list had changed, so we included all 12, since they all said 31 drops.

Check out their sites by clicking on their logos above and as always, do follow along during the month with our great dropaholic widget in our left sidebar for the latest on who has dropped by the most in the last 30 days (thanks Greg - and yes, you were correct, this is better done on the 1st of the month, not the last day) .

Big congrats to all the
Winter X Games winners
and an extra big two paws up
to Shaun White for history-making back to back golds!

The American Kennel Club recently recognized three more breeds into the AKC registry:

The Irish Red and White Setter, The Pyrenean Shepherd and The Norwegian Buhund.

What beautiful dogs!   Find out more about each of the breeds  at the AKC website.

Button, a 3 year old Dalmatian from the UK, recently gave birth to a litter of 18 puppies. This is Button’s second litter in two years, for an astounding total of 33 puppies.

Now, that’s pawsitively exhausting! Wishing Button and her Dalmatian family the very best!

So, our parents finally went to see Marley and Me yesterday and all we can say in response is:

  1. Why don’t theatres let dogs in?  I mean - really - we are much better behaved than babies and we love to watch movies.  Hmmm.   Ok, back on topic…
  2. All dogs should send their people to see Marley and Me.   For maximizing this opportunity - send your people to the matinee and you will have a GREEAT evening!

Apparently, Marley and Me is a touching, funny and heart-breaking movie.   Not to give away the ending, but well - Mom says for the last 30 minutes, everyone cried.   Something happens, kids says “He knows” and lots of tears.  That’s all we could get out of them. Hmmm.

Now, here is where it gets interesting - this “30 minutes of crying” seemed to have a positive effect on our evening.   We got extra treats.  Mom hand-fed us dinner  We had a rousing game of chasing the toys with Dad.   And, they both kept petting us, rubbing our tummies and telling us we were the best dogs in the world all night long.

Trust us - we know we are some of the most spoiled dogs around.

But this was pawsitively delightful!

We can’t wait until the Marley and Me DVD comes out.   Two paws way up!

- Happy New Year!
